This control box is intended for use with the Redback Touch programmable touchscreen wallplates. It can function independently or serve as an expansion hub for the A 6505A. The box contains 2 relays with a high current capacity of 16A each, and their voltage free contacts are isolated and closed during operation.When paired with a Redback Touch wallplate, the wallplate is easily connected through a Cat5/6 cable that can span up to 50m. Instructions from the programmed wallplate are then relayed to this central hub, and the corresponding RS232/485 command signals are conveyed through the pluggable terminals. This feature is ideal for managing AV systems in educational or professional settings such as classrooms, lecture theatres, and board rooms. The hub also includes serial outputs that can be utilized to control projectors and amplifiers.
