The Seymour Duncan MortalCoil Active Humbucker Set, Black is a next-generation active pickup system engineered for modern players demanding extreme precision, crushing attack, and exceptional tonal versatility.
Built on Seymour Duncan’s 50 years of pickup expertise, MortalCoil has three distinct voices: the aggressive MC1 modern metal voice, JB/Jazz-inspired voicings, and a single-coil mode. It covers tight modern riffs, expressive cleans and classic rock tones.
Featuring precision-wound high-density copper coils and a newly developed low-distortion active preamp, the MortalCoil delivers fast transient response, enhanced pick attack, and outstanding note clarity across all tunings and gain levels.
