Redback Temperature Controlled DIN Rail Switch S0086

Description

This compact unit is designed in-house by Altronics R&D and features two inputs. These inputs can be configured as either local or remote sensors. Local sensors are connected directly to the screw terminals, while remote sensors can be connected up to 200m away using a two-core shielded cable. Each input can have upper and lower temperature limits set, and the internal relay will activate if these limits are reached. One local sensor is included, with the option to purchase an additional sensor (Z 6386).

The temperature range of this DIN Rail Switch S0086 is -49°C to 155°C, and it offers user-adjustable hysteresis to prevent the relay from continuously turning on and off. This versatile switch can be utilized in various settings such as hot houses, plant rooms, machinery, wine cellars, and refrigeration units, with the ability to trigger an alarm, flash a light, or operate a telephone dialler.
