This wall plate for microphone and line inputs features a balanced high level output converted from either input. The 3V signal is transmitted through Cat5e cable, allowing for distribution up to 300m without interference, to a compatible UTP receiver unit from Redback. The mic input uses a balanced XLR, while the line input can be connected through 2 x RCA sockets or 3.5mm audio jack for portable devices with a lower level output. Power is provided to the plate via UTP cabling.

Use with Redback A4480B and A4432
The wall plate allows for a local input source in a specific zone to override the overall input. This could include a mobile device for background music or a microphone for speeches at a wedding event.
