Redback Four Output Microphone/Line Hub A4930

Description

This microphone/line receiver hub can handle audio from up to four A 4931 zone wallplates or other Redback UTP transmitters. The A 4931 wallplate accepts both microphone and line inputs, converting them to balanced high-level outputs. The 3V signal is transmitted via Cat5e cable (capable of distribution up to 300m without interference) back to the hub. Mic inputs use a balanced XLR connection, while line inputs can be made through 2 RCA sockets or a 3.5mm audio jack for portable devices with a lower-level line output.

The hub features individual output channels for each transmitter and includes front-mounted volume controls. Users can adjust DIP switches to choose which source is sent to the main combined output. Each output, including the main output, can be set to balanced mic/line or unbalanced line levels via DIP switches. The included plugpack provides 24V DC power for the hub.

Rack Mounting
To properly incorporate any of the Redback half rack products into a 19" racking system, the H 4990 bracket is essential. In cases where a single product is being mounted with the H 4990, a metal (H 4992) or plastic (H 4993) infill panel may be used for a more streamlined appearance.
