The input is through a 3-pin balanced XLR (1V), with a rear-mounted level control to prevent tampering or accidental adjustment.

The Redback 250W Public Address (PA) Power Amplifier A4380A, made in Australia, boasts a circuit design with built-in protection features for output over voltage, over current, and over temperature conditions. These features are self-resetting once the fault condition is eliminated. Amplifier status is always displayed through front panel LEDs, providing visual indication. To ensure reliable operation at all times, the amplifier features on-demand fan cooling. Additionally, a dedicated nominal 24V dc 1A output is included on the rear to power additional devices. The unit is also equipped with rack ears for easy installation.
