The momentary operation switches require a press of up to 3 seconds to activate and have protective "flip up" covers to prevent accidental use. It connects to the A4500B via standard Cat5e cabling and has two RJ45 ports on the rear, with either one being usable. Only one A4578 wall plate can be connected to the A4500B through the "To Wall Plate" RJ45 port. In case of connection issues with the main unit, the LED on the wall plate will flash.
